About
Aous Ahmad Abdo
Founder & CEO, Analytica Data Science Solutions · Physicist
Aous Abdo's work follows one thread across an extraordinary range of scales. It began inside the atomic nucleus — an analytic solution for the anharmonic vibrations of even-even spherical nuclei — and moved outward to the highest-energy light in the sky.
At Los Alamos National Laboratory he led nuclear-physics research; at the Milagro observatory his A₄ technique produced the instrument's first TeV gamma-ray discoveries. As a National Academy of Sciences Fellow at the U.S. Naval Research Laboratory and a member of the Fermi Large Area Telescope team, he helped open the GeV gamma-ray sky — discovering the first pulsar found through its gamma rays alone, the first detection of gravitational lensing in cosmic gamma rays, and lead-authoring the foundational Fermi catalogs of pulsars, blazars, and active galaxies.
The same instinct — pulling a faint signal out of overwhelming noise — now drives his work in data science and AI. In 2015 he founded Analytica Data Science Solutions, where as Founder & CEO he turns complex data into actionable insight for business and government. He has taught data science, machine learning, and AI across four continents, served as a NASA teaching ambassador, and authored two books on advanced analytics.
